 & there's loads to do!

There's always a lifeguard on duty at The Park pool less than 5 minutes walk away - and there are plenty of places for parents to sit and read the paper. The main pool is lovely too and shallow at one end.

Head to reception and turn right. There's lots of coin operated games children can play and a pool table.

Especially during the holiday season, there's all kinds of kids and family entertainment going on in the clubhouse.

Just go to reception. There's lots of inspiring leaflets on display with the latest activities and events for children. 

Head down the High Street (Berry Lane), turn left at the Longridge Electrical shop and 100 metres down that lane you'll find a nice big playing field with lots of swings and slides.

Ribchester, 15 minutes away, has a lovely park with a well equipped playground, tennis court and football pitches.  Right next to the park is a delightyful, querky cafe with all kinds of crafts you can try. Cakes are good too.

Blackburn's Planet Ice is only half an hour away and well worth it. You can hire skates and fun penguin sledges for tiny kids to sit on and be skated around. 

You'll find it under the beds in the twin room. Our kids used to love lego so we ended up buying all sorts of bits of pieces. Great project for a rainy day.
